Need assistance with identifying and typing your legal description?

For a one-time payment of $49.99, we can help you locate the legal description on the prior deed to the property and type it into a format that you can use on a new deed.

The legal description is delivered by email, ready to cut-and-paste into the new deed.

Note: This service is for legal description assistance only. If you want to create a new deed form to transfer real estate, use our online deed preparation service or TOD deed preparation service.

If you don't have the prior deed to the property, it can usually be found in the land records of the county where the property is located. You can also use our online deed location service if you would like us to help you find a copy.

Property Owners(Required)

Enter the name of the current owner exactly as it appears in the land records. Tax statements, mortgage papers, or related documents may help you determine the way that the name should be worded. If there is more than one owner, use the plus sign to enter the names of all owners.

Prior Deed

In order to help with your legal description, we will need a copy of the prior deed to the property (the deed that conveyed the property to the current owners). We will not be able to help without a copy of the prior deed.
